Threshold or Intermediate level of Spanish language (B1.2) addressed to the business world. This Curricular Unit follows The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): Learning, Teaching, Assessment as a reference guideline.
Objectives and expected learning outcomes
The main purpose of this Curricular Unit is to teach students the tools and concepts needed to manage themselves in different sectors of the Hispanic business world.
Skills to be developed
In the contact sessions the teacher will focus, on practical and theoretical way, the following skills: listening comprehension and oral interaction, written expression, grammatical and lexical acquisition. At the end of this curricular unit, the student should be able to - Develop basic skills of comprehension and expression in Spanish. - Search and manage information that enables continuous and independent learning. - Reach B.1.2 CEFR level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Programme
I.Comunicative Functions: Activate previous knowledge. Express and justify own opinions. Express conditions and propose solutions. Compare and express preferences. Give instructions.
II. Grammar: Conditional; perfect future; express probability; some uses of por and para; imperfect subjunctive; compound tenses; correspondence of the times; Conditional sentences; the reported speech; passive / impersonal manner; use of pero, sino, sino que; consecutive, causal and reduplicate sentences.
III. Lexical Content: Expatriation. Procedures to work outside of Spain. Management styles. Work environment. Digital world. Social networks.
IV. Cultural Content: Familiarize the student with professional, socio-cultural and intercultural Spanish-speaking countries behaviors. Topics: Blogs; soap operas; Latin artists; Distinguished men and women of Spain and Latin America.

The programmatic content combines active pedagogical practices of communication with systematic exercises to learn enough vocabulary and grammar to reach the level B1.2 of the CEFR.

Learning Methods
We use Entorno Laboral, Edelsa, reference manual, SGEL, as a method of learning Spanish for professional purposes, because it has a communicative approach that favors teamwork, the use of multimedia tools and compliance with CEFR directives.

Oral individual work and one e-learning activity (wikirrelato): 40 % Individual written tests (2): 60% (30%+30%)
Under the General Regulation:
a) The actual presence of the students in the classes will be registered and, if the number of absences per student exceeds 30% of the total number of contact sessions provided for each course unit, it will automatically be transferred to the final evaluation of the normal period. b) In the written tests it is necessary to obtain a minimum grade of 7.5 (seven comma five) values. c) If the student fails or obtains a grade lower than 7.5 points in the written tests or assignments, he will be automatically transferred to the final evaluation of the normal season. d) If the student is absent or gets a grade lower than 7.5 points in the second written test (held on the same date as the final written test of the normal time), he / she may apply for evaluation at the time of appeal. e) All written academic work handled for assessment (reports, case studies, etc.) must be submitted to the Turnitin database, available on the ISAG E-Learning platform, with an acceptable similarity rate up to 30%.

The student classified with 8 (eight) or 9 (nine) values in the written test will have access to an oral test.

The communicative approach and use of multimedia tools enhances and favors the acquisition of the required competences in the level to be achieved in this curricular unit by simulating and reproducing the situations in which the new user of the language will be in his professional and personal life.
