Program Overview

This degree aims to train professionals with a comprehensive background, capable of both starting their own business and performing a wide range of management positions in companies and other public and private organisations. Graduates should be able to use the concepts and techniques applicable to the different functional areas of the company, as well as understand the relationships that exist between them and with the general objectives of the organisation. They must be able to make decisions in conditions of uncertainty and, in general, to take on management tasks. Specifically, they must be able to identify and anticipate opportunities and threats, allocate resources, organise information, select and motivate people, make decisions in ambiguous conditions, achieve the objectives set efficiently and evaluate the results achieved.

Program Overview

To train graduates who, with a solid preparation in foreign languages and comprehensive economic and business training, can integrate themselves into the activities of companies and other organisations in a more versatile way, collaborating and participating autonomously in their internal management and coordination processes, assuming the role of prime interlocutors between inside and outside and contributing to their image, notoriety and effectiveness.

Program Overview

Graduates of the Hospitality Management degree, by acquiring various competences throughout the course, will be able to perform various tasks, at different levels of intervention, within the scope of hotel units. Specifically, training in Hospitality Management aims to provide the development of scientific, technical and interpersonal skills that contribute to the organisation and evaluation of theoretical, technical and practical solutions to the different problems faced by the various areas of Hospitality. Through the knowledge acquired, the Hospitality Management graduate will develop a wide range of knowledge and skills, not only in the management of hotel services, but also in finance, marketing, communication and resource management, as well as leadership skills.
